A WhatsApp group has been made by us and we have added all the traders whom we know in Maharajganj and adjoining districts. We upload pictures and visuals of organic farming being done by them. We have also created a Facebook page on which we keep uploading pictures of organic vegetables we produce. Traders are also being contacted through messenger.”

“Many traders have contacted us during the lockdown period and after finalising the deal we get the vegetables delivered to them. We have also engaged migrant workers who have returned from other parts of the state due to the lockdown in organic farming,” he stated.

His pal Aditya Singh who helps him, stated, “Online selling is very easy. We just need to market our produce effectively on social media and the traders will contact themselves. My two other friends are also helping us in marketing organic vegetables and produce.”

“We have got a good response from the market. We are also taking payments online. Other farmers who are aware of the technology should use it to sell their produce,” he stated.
